My role as a professional counselor is to cultivate a warm, therapeutic relationship that places the client on a path of self-awareness, social-awareness, and self-discovery. It is my belief that the acquisition of the afore-mentioned constructs can serve as catalysts for healing and empowerment.
My duty as a clinician, in its simplest form, is to validate the client, provide strategies and coping skills, and support the client’s healing journey.
As an experienced therapist, I have compassionately coached numerous children and families utilizing group, individual, and family counseling modalities. My theoretical counseling approach is eclectic in nature. The counseling models that I employ include, but are not limited to, Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
